La Familia Publishing Submission Guidelines

La Familia Publishing is a small independent publisher of fiction and narrative non-fiction. We do not publish self-help, how-to guides, romance novels, mysteries, thrillers, westerns, or science fiction.

La Familia Publishing does not accept unsolicited manuscripts. However, we do consider book proposals. Your proposal should include a letter that describes your book and includes a resume with a list of previous publications and writing experience. You may also send a sample (10–20 pages maximum) of your work.

To receive a response, you must enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE). You will receive a reply from our staff within one month to let you know if we want to see a complete manuscript. We do not accept proposals through e-mail and will not respond to them.
